November 14, 1939.
The City Council met on the above date, with Mayor Clark and
Ithe following Aldermen attending: Chas. Neblett Jr., H. D. Barhal
iK. D. Hamilton, T. T. Oliver, Fred McCleskey, Jack Henderson and
L. Riggins.
Paul Higginbotham came before the Council asking that the
!City furnish the old pavilion at the Park for use of offices for
the Old Age Assistance, Relief, N. Y. A. and other agencies.
! A motion was made by T. T. Oliver, seconded by K. D. Hamilt
;that the City offer the Commissioners Court the old pavilion for
fuse of the above purpose. Motion carried.
There being no further business, the Council stood adjourned
in an adjourned regular meeting, subject to the call off' thte _ayor

The City Council met again on November 28, 1939, with Mayor
Clark and Aldermen L. Riggins, Chas. Neblett Jr. H. D. Barham,
Jack Henderson, T. T. Oliver, Fred McCleskey and K. D. Hamilton. it

Mayor Clark stated that the call was to consider sale of
North part of Block 15, City Addition. An Bffer of $3 000.00
was made for the Northwest one-fourth of the lot, and J5,000.00
was offered for the entire north part.
After discussion of the matter, it was decided that no
action would be taken at the present time.
There being no other business, the Council stood
//adjourned.
