July 5, 1939.
The City Council of Stephenville, Texas, met in regular ses-
ion on July 5, 1939, with 1,1ayor Henry Clark and the following
ldermen present: Chas. Neblett Jr., Geo. Minter, T. T. Oliver,
. Riggins, Jack Henderson, H. D. Barham and Fred YcCleskey.
Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
A request of the N. Y. A. Girls Project for an increase in
lowance was heard and after discussion, a motion was made by Geo;
nter, seconded by T. T. Oliver, that the allowance of $20.00 per;
nth be increased to t35.00 per month, and that the Commissioners!
urt be asked to supplement this amount with an allowance of $15.1
r month. The motion was carried. (Chas. Neblett Jr. not voting);
o. Minter, L. Riggins and H. D. Barham were appointed as a Com-
ttee to contact the Commissioners' Court in regard to the above.!
A motion was made by T. T. Oliver, seconded by Chas. Neblett
., that the Finance Committee have charge of sale of City lot
Gated on N. Graham St. Motion carried.
Bills and accounts were read, and on motion by Fred YcCles
conded by Geo, hinter, were allowed and ordered paid.
There being nothing further
