Regular City Council Meeting
Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 5:30 PM
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at 5:30 PM, in the
Council Chambers at City Hall, 298 West Washington Street, for the purpose of a Regular Business Meeting,
with the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, time, place and
subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas Codes
Annotated, with the following members present, to wit:

Council Member Carla Trussell
Council Member Brady Pendleton
Council Member Alan Nix
Council Member Sherry Zachery
Council Member Brandon Huckabee
Mayor Doug Svien
Council Member Rhett Harrison

I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.
II. Consider Approval of Ordinance No. 2018-0-20 Issuing Certificates of Obligation in the
maximum principal amount not to exceed $17,030,000
1. The Stephenville City Council will consider the adoption of Ordinance No. 2018-0-20
authorizing the issuance of the City's Combination Tax and Surplus Revenue Certificates
of Obligation, Series 2018, and the sale of the Certificates to the Texas Water
Development Board; approving the use of an Escrow Agreement and a Paying
Agent/Registrar Agreement; pledging certain revenues for the payment of the
Certificates; and enacting other provisions relating to the issuance and sale of the
Certificates.
MOTION by Alan Nix, second by Mark McClinton, to adopt Ordinance No. 2018-0-20
authorizing the issuance and sale of the City's Combination Tax and Surplus Revenue
Certificates of Obligation, Series 2018, to the Texas Water Development Board, and
enacting other provisions relating to the issuance and sale of the Certificates.
MOTION CARRIED by the following votes:
Ayes: Mark McClinton, Carla Trussell, Brady Pendleton, Alan Nix, Sherry
Zachery, and Brandon Huckabee
III. Adjourn
