City of Stephenville - City Council
TUESDAY, APRIL 18, 1995 - 5:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened in
special session on April 18, 1995, at 5:30 p.m. , in the Council
Chambers at City Hall, 354 N. Belknap Street, with the meeting
being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the
date, time, place and subject thereof, having been posted as
prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas Codes
Annotated, with the following members present, to wit:

Councilmembers: Alan Nix
Barbara Terrell
John Wooley
Darrell W. Brown
Scott Evans
Bill Johnson
Billy Bob Hodges
Bill Corbin
Others Attending Don Davis, City Administrator
Cindy L. Stafford, City
Secretary
Randy Thomas, City Attorney
I. CALL TO ORDER. Mayor Lohrmann called the meeting to order
at 5:30 p.m. and declared a quorum present.
II . AUTHORIZATION TO SELL CITY PROPERTY
Councilmembers were given a list of city property to be
sold on April 26, 1995 at the joint auction of the City
of Stephenville, Tarleton State University, and
Stephenville Independent School District. Councilmember
Wooley moved that the Council approve the 1995 auction
list and authorize the sale of said property at the
auction to be held on April 26, 1995 at Tarleton State
University. Councilmember Johnson seconded the motion
and it carried by unanimous vote.
III. CHANGING OF DATE OF MAY REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
City Administrator Don Davis explained that the regular
meeting on May 2 will precede the General Election on May
6, 1995. Since the City Charter provides that the votes

of the election be canvassed within six days after the
election, the Council considered moving the Regular
Council Meeting from May 2 to May 9. There being no
objections, the Council, by general consensus, agreed to
set the May Regular Council Meeting on May 9, 1995 at
7 :00 p.m.
Mayor Lohrmann made special mention of three Stephenville High
School students who have been chosen to attend the National Youth
Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. These students are
Corbett Boone, Ben Brister, and Sherry Parker.
III. ADJOURN
There being no other business to come before the Council
at this time, Mayor Lohrmann adjourned the meeting at
5:40 p.m.
