A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE,TEXAS,SUPPORTING AN ADVANCE
FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF ACTIVE WARNING DEVICES AND ROADWAY REALIGNMENT AT THE LOCKHART ROAD RAILROAD
CROSSING.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Stephenville ("City") wishes to enter into an Advance
Funding Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation ("TxDOT") for improvements to the
railway crossing on Lockhart Road in the city of Stephenville,Texas.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF STEPHENVILLE,TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Stephenville shall enter into an Advance Funding Agreement("AFA") with
TxDOT in accordance with TxDOT's Federal Railway Highway Crossing Program.
SECTION 2. That the mutual covenants and agreements between the City and TxDOT are detailed in an
AFA dated August 4, 2020.
